- Permits Required: Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Hanle, Tso Moriri, Nubra, Pangong, Umling La.
- Best Time: June-September (roads open, weather stable).
- Road Conditions: Some routes (Zanskar, Umling La) are challenging; prefer 4×4 vehicles.
